PBI Airport

I recently made a judgment-call at West Palm Beach Airport that woul dsoon prove to be a bit premature. I approached thhe United Airlines ticket counter and was immediately welcomed by a woman who might have been wearing the largest frown I have seen in the last 73-years. I felt as though the ensuing communication would soon prove to be anything but positive. I was ready for battle. I was wrong.

Today’s message highlights the three power signs that effectively establish a smooth intercourse between strangers. In today’s episode I’m going to feature the signals that effectively establish communications between two unfamiliar people

I’m about to remind you of the power of the smile, the importance of the “hook,” and the significance of the sincere compliment. I like to consider these as the big three.

Yesterday’s encounter with United Airlines ticket counter agent could have ended up differently if not for the smile, the hook, and the compliment. Take a listen.
