In his particular email he was talking about the importance of listening before responding. I was immediately reminded of a lesson I learned long ago as a professional speaker of how the proper use of silence can enhance your everyday communications.
The particular tactic featured in today’s podcast is affectionately known as “the pause.”
Take a listen and you will soon see exactly what I’m talking about.
